Ep 64: Focusing on what you have and going all in, with two-time Olympic gold medalist David Wise
I have literally waited months to release this episode of the Fit Dad Fitness Podcast with this week's guest — two-time Olympic gold medalist David Wise.
Ever since I watched David defend his ski halfpipe gold this past February in the Winter Olympics — watch his insane final run to capture gold — I have wanted to get David on the show. Not just because he is the best in the world at what he does, but because of his attitude, his mindset, and his determination when it comes to being the best husband, father, and person he can be.
David is so open and easy in this interview and yet drops wisdom bomb after wisdom bomb time and time again, all from an outlook that being grateful for all that you have is a state of mind that you can focus on and control.
David and I cover a ton of ground in this wide-ranging interview, and our conversation ranks near the top of the list of my favorite interviews I've ever done dating all the way back to my early career as a sports writer.
Please share this episode with someone who might enjoy it and find value in it, and do me an enormous favor and leave a rating and review on iTunes. It would mean so much to me if you took the time to let me know what you think of the show. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for listening!
