Ep 46: How Gordon Duncan battled seizures to become a Boston Marathon qualifier
Five years ago, Gordon Duncan's world took a unforeseen and scary turn. Gordon — an avid runner, devoted husband and father, and church planter — had his life thrown for a loop by a medical condition that gripped his mind and brought on regular seizures.
But rather than submit to his condition, Gordon fought back. He not only fought back, but he dared to set his aim higher than before. And now, in spite of his condition, he can call himself a Boston Marathon qualifier.
In this episode of the Fit Dad Fitness Podcast, Gordon talks about his journey and what it has been like dealing with his new reality, and how he's faced this trial head-on. He also discusses what qualifying for Boston means to him after all he has experienced.
